  3. He's getting like JB w/hype forecast for cash. You can't predict winter forecast. If you get it right it's luck and nothing more. Glenn said it correct, too many variables. I'm glad he quit doing it...
  4. Kinda lame. Some showers then a gusty wind/downpour for 10 minutes. Now just some showers w/the backside approaching by 11-12pm... 58F
  5. Looking back, that was a mess when new model runs came out. I couldn't keep up w/all the replies at once and to make matters worse some posters didn't have a location listed... 56F
  6. I'm a Sunday night put out trash guy so I'm good. I usually get screwed. Another good thing about snow, you can wedge the trashcan in the snow piles on side of the road....more stable. 57F
  7. The wind/rain overnight/tomorrow should knock a good bit of leaves from the trees just in time for weekend cleanup. Maybe some 40+ MPH gust... 60F

  10. I have a pet rock courtesy of Charlie's halloween ventures. It helped me through some rough times and hopefully will continue through Winter. Doctor thinks I'm crazy. I told him come to this site w/a winter storm pending and follow a 00z Euro thread to see some really crazy individuals. Bridge jumping, blow torch photos, people hallucinated seeing snow, bright snow lights, people artificially making snow, upside down rulers for greater snow depth and all... 36F as of 3am
  11. Yeah, but not really. They can have a couple more of those games and still stroll to winning NFC East...it's that bad besides them.
  12. Sticking w/my guns and going w/Dec 12th for the first flakes. Probably some lake effect snow makes it way down here which gives us some flakes/snow shower around 3:43pm... 55F
  13. By chance did family member make you "special cookies" for breakfast? Yellow jacket and I haven't seen a dragonfly in a long time even in the summer but 23F for a low and living critters still flying around? Perhaps not enough sleep...you may need more naps during the day. 55F...with that Fall sun angle look. *Birds kickoff at 4:05pm. May be dark (or very close) by the end of the 1st quarter....
  14. Had one buzzing around me today after cutting the lawn. However he/she seemed slow/dumb and not persistent so probably on its last legs... 35F
  15. Funny part is more NY'ers want us to merge w/them than SEPA'ers want to merge at all...leave things be. 41F
  16. I miss the days where 50s would be common in Oct w/a day or two hovering in the 40s and a stray flurry/snowflake. Hell, now here are entering mid Nov next week w/temps in the mid 60s(+?) and the site of a flurry is not even on the radar. My guess is Dec 12th for our first stray flake... 54F at 3:20pm
  17. Accuweather 11pm, departure from normal next week. I thought we turned the corner but apparently not...
