  1. $100 on option 2...maybe not 3pm but past noon and no ice problems. 31F
  2. Yeah, I know exactly where you are located. I thought when I moved there winter weather would be better but it wasn't at all. (Not the reason I moved there) Whenever snow changed to rain in Philly it was only 20min or so before the changeover happened there..it didn't hang on.Maybe due to only 240' elevation. It wasn't any different living there than when I lived in Horsham. Best of luck w/your health as some injuries take a while to heal. And not sure if you know this but the movie "The Lovely Bones" (Mark Wahlberg, Susan Sarandon) was shot right in front of or around your place on main street. I moved away by this point but went up to check it out...pretty cool. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NR_1RDCh4Js 32F/Sunny
  3. Neither do I...eventually I'll look it up. 17F
  4. Think this will be mainly a Berks/W event. Don't think there will be many problems Mont/Bucks counties and east...
  5. Eskin thinks it is and he didn't use models, the NWS complimented him...
  6. ^Read a couple post above this, he may have received 8"+...you should investigate.
  7. Lake effect snow making its way down? Dropped to 29F/ Cloudy/Gusty
  8. Just busting on ya...I knew you would call out the 8-10"'. As Redsky mentioned I remember him from his cabin in the poconos (or something like that) but this wasn't the storm for him. He made out when our area went snow to rain/sleet and he was piling up snow. Snow blowing off rooftops, cold, looks/feels like winter. Tues highs in the low 20s...
  9. Are you part of some sort of Accumulation Totals Task Force? (ATTF) 31F/Cloudy/Gusty
  10. All Philly public schools are virtual today. (Not snow day) I guess it all depends on the school district. That's gotta suck since it's a Friday... No ‘Snow Day': Philly Public Schools Go to Virtual Learning Friday https://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/weather/stories-weather/philadelphia-public-schools-snow-remote-learning/3099065/
  11. ...then you have to wait for Harry Donahue to read the entire list again at the top of the hour. Painstaking. 27F/mod snow
  12. Watching the news and school closings. Way different from when I was in grade/high school. When we heard our school closing number on KYW1060...that's it, we're off, done! Out in the snow! Now they just switch to virtual and another class day...tough break for them. Nice intense pink band ready to plow through... 27F
  13. Looks like a couple more hours. Down to our (my) S and E are doing better it seems...
  14. Jersey's going to be the big winner again. Just about the entire state has solid radar echoes.... 27F Mod snow
  15. Yeah, we're missing it...nice bands. Still decent here mod snow with larger flakes. 27F
  16. The hell-hole is caving in. From above till now... 28F/snow
  17. This may be the steady/heavier stuff we've been looking for moving in... 28/light snow
  18. Nice batch forming and moving NE...hopefully I can cash in. 28F/very very fine flakes
  19. My old stomping grounds in my 20s, rented a place up 2nd avenue off Main Street. Use to hit Toms bar for happy hour occasionally on my way home from work. Is that place still there/open? 31F / Light snow
  20. I think we'll see flakes/light stuff before then but the "heaviest" between 2/3am to 5am then winds down. Pretty much once we see the somewhat solid rates we'll also see the backend in the distance... 35F
  21. DT will be my new best friend if this happens... 34F
