I asked Alexa. Pretty much the same as google... What kind of winter is predicted for 2022 in Pennsylvania? "November 2022 to October 2023. Winter temperatures will be below normal, while precipitation and snowfall will be above normal. The coldest periods will be in early December, early and late January, and most of February. The snowiest periods will be in early to mid-January, late January, and late February."

58F Tonight would be a good Halloween/trick or treat night. Cloudy/Gloomy/misty/leaves falling and many on the ground and temps in the 50's. Looking ahead to next week and what we already experience so far I would give this October a solid "A". I have more leaves on the ground (and better colors) now than I had last Thanksgiving. If we saw some flakes mixed in w/our rain events or a scattered flurry I would bump it to a A+....

Best/green/thick it's looked in months. Leaves falling and colder weather moving in so it won't be long lasting. Squirrels running around like crazy...some fox around here as well. 59F

Just getting a normal/below normal December would be a change of pace in many years. This October so far has been "what I remember" Octobers used to be and it looks to continue. Hopefully this overall pattern continues and wouldn't mind another hurricane/tropical storm/Nor'easter slamming us... Overcast/mist, 58F

Not here, I'm enjoying this as well. October is actually feeling/looking like October. Gloomy, brisk, leaves changing colors and falling. Hopefully it's the start of a nice/slow transition into winter without any heat spikes... Overcast/55F
