  1. Oh yes. The old split flow meme. Some goes north. Some goes south. Leaving us right in the split. Not gonna fool me again.
  2. Thanks. I’ve had a lot of experience doing that but I’ve been retired for quite a few years so you probably have never seen me dressed for work.
  3. Misery. When we think of misery, what comes to mind? Is it the gut-wrenching feeling of loss, the overwhelming sense of hopelessness, or perhaps the crushing weight of despair as the hope of snowfall disappears before our very eyes? Whatever image it conjures, one thing is certain: misery is a force to be reckoned with in the realm of human emotions. Have a great day!!
  4. Psst……that 17 is in South Georgia.
  5. You should have seen it before I reduced it.
  6. It’s coming. Your power bill.
  7. Simplest answer. There is no line. The models are a simulated reality created by machines. In effect, a matrix. Cue creepy music.
  8. Several different EVS can power a full circuit if you know anyone that owns one. Only have to hook up a fridge a few hours a day.
  9. People make a big deal about ratio but it only matters for the original measurement. It quickly compacts and 10” of 10 to 1 snow will melt as quickly as 5” of 5 to 1.
  10. Congratulations!!! Go to the Crosswinds Boating Center on Jordan Lake to pick up your prize.
  11. It hasn’t snowed 20 hours total in Raleigh this century.
  12. It took down the entire grid including the sturdiest of main transmission towers. No quick fix for that.
  13. You’re a bit late for the parkour fad but if you video it I will watch.
  14. Lol. Noted. PS, I probably will just let it go.
  15. I suggest renaming the models. Euro - Larry GFS - Curly **** - Mo Mo is the name given to the model besides the Euro and GFS that did the worst on the previous event.
  16. It has happened before. If you’re interested here is a not too long summery of inauguration weather. https://www.iweathernet.com/weather-history/inauguration-day-weather-highlights-from-the-past
  17. Let’s keep politics out of the weather side.
  18. Yep.. Wouldn’t be surprised if the next one was the biggest since the glaciers started their retreat 17,000 years ago.
