  1. The rap is pretty consistent showing this but how is the RAP with thermals?
  2. Could very well be right. But the nam and icon alone atm
  3. Still A lot of time to trend either way which can be good or bad. Like we’ve been saying 2-4 hour difference is literally inches of snow
  4. Need a jack hammer to shovel. Might have to clear the snow before it changes
  5. Icon is colder than nam and in nyc area it’s only .5- inch different from 06z so I’d say it held steady??
  6. Yea it’s gonna replace it eventually, but it’s still unknown if it’s good or not it’s a prototype at this stage still I believe?
  7. It’s a prototype for the Nam of course it’s gonna be like the NAM…. 0 other high res look like thet
  8. Literally can be 3-6 inch difference with the rates and snow we have coming
  9. NAM literally on its own right now. Good or bad not one short range meso models close to the NAM
  10. NAM moves around to much. It’s on its own right now
  11. positive thing is; even though it sucks to mix at least sleet still accumulates and it’s not a cold rain or white rain lol
  12. Hrrrrr just shows though how hanging on even for an extra couple hours is huge. Fun times ahead can be a lot of positive surprises and obv negative ones as well
  13. Best I got, I love tropical tidbits feature but don’t think rap is on there https://www.pivotalweather.com/model.php?m=rap&p=ref1km_ptype&rh=2026012406&fh=2&r=us_ne&dpdt=&mc=
  14. Really all depends on how fast the transition happens. If models are to fast even by a couple hours nyc Long Island can achieve 10-12 I have to imagine
  15. The 10:1 and kuch snow maps are the same number, little weird lol
  16. There’s just bands riding the south shore crawling… belt parkway camera has been whiteout conditions for almost an hour
  17. Looks like a nice band forming across the area now
  18. Heaviest snow of the night, def seems to be some enhancement going on
