  1. MLK weekend generally looks like it has potential. EPS has a favorable longwave pattern and snow maps have a decent signal for that range.
  2. HoCo 2 hours late with a morning reeval
  3. Yeah, pretty nice. Hopefully means GGEM will be a solid hit. Agree with @stormtracker that the window for one of those GFS bomb runs to play out is closing fast. But I'm not going to kick 2-4"/3-5" out of bed if we can get it there.
  4. That map does seem high along the M/D line area.
  5. If we actually get 6-7 weeks of a favorable pattern, that is a huge win. Up to chance what materializes from it.
  6. Final measurement today with a new 0.5”. 7.2” total. Still snowing very lightly. Fun storm. Let’s do it again in 4-5 days!
  7. Yes, lovely evening even if we were mostly pixie dust flakes during it. I like the radar…
  8. 0.8” new, mostly this evening. 6.7” total.
  9. Noooooo they are not. Even in the most marginal of cases, they usually are too low.
  10. Better than 12z on the mean at least. This is only 100-120 hours out! Kinda nuts.
  11. Love it. This should be high ratio stuff. Send it east!
  12. Snizzle has resumed. Waiting for fatty dendrites. Have a 7pm @Jebman Jebwalk scheduled, so need a snow globe.
  13. Not to be all “back in my day” like @mattie g or whoever, but I don’t recall getting 2 days off school for a 6” storm when I was a kid. #getoffmylawn
  14. Radar blossoming nicely in WV/MD panhandle area
  15. Guessing that's ULL snow moving into the northwest portion of the LWX radar.
  16. I'm personally glad I stuck to my guns with 4-8" for MBY. I was *really* tempted to go 6-10" after yesterday's 0z runs. In the end, I think I'll end up close to 8" with the ULL snow. So pretty spot on for MBY, although I know it's low-end most places elsewhere. I think you'll get to 8" @mattie g.
  17. Yeah, I think that's all fair.
