If anyone knows me on a personal level, I am snow and winter weather OBSESSED. But, this winter drained the fun out of it for me. I’m also ready for spring.
I say let it snow!! Get me to the end of this month then I can talk about Spring.
However, MLB spring training starts today so....

Pushing a half inch here and snowing steady. Just cold enough for all snow. The upper level low saved us here.
Bottom end of the county is getting nailed right now for sure. Snowing very well over here in Bostic also. Got a solid Trace.

Snowed my entire bus route this morning.
Had yesterday off of school but driving in it today.
Looks like a car and roof topper so far.

Same here. Starting to stick. Maybe we keep this up on and off all night and get lucky under the upper level low tomorrow morning under a heavier band.
Got no where to go but up.

Goes to show how primed the atmosphere is. Just absolutely nothing available to give it a boost. It’s a shame the ULL isn’t pivoting in right now because trailers like that have a chance to hammer with better dynamics. We’d get a smooth 4-6” with the help.
No joke.

Weirdly it’s started spitting snow again with nothing on radar
Same but I got the small little spot on the radar and its snow.
If only.

It sucks to have two separate events in a winter where it snows fly a few hours and you come away with nothing to show for it. Meanwhile I got people complaining in Raleigh that they’re getting 2” instead of 6”. It’s just so frustrating and deflating.
Heck, I scored more from that rogue NWFS event that broke containment than a “Miller A”
No doubt. The pay off for a true Miller A is so worth it. Just been a minute since we have enjoyed a true event.

lol. No sooner did you post this, GSP updated the advisory to extend until noon tomorrow. Coating - an inch possible with the ULL. We’ll see.
Yup. Just got that update. We shall see.

I live in Bostic which is 10 miles east of Spindale. Watching what is coming into the county now.

We could have gotten hammered from this storm, it just goes to show you how close it was to being a big storm. Everything almost has to be perfect nowadays, and forget the models until about 36-48 hrs it seems. I am happy right now just watching it snow finally.
The fuel it could be providing . But I agree. I got 20 mins in falling snow outside playing basketball with my kid. So win.

If the gulf was not so active right now the transport of moisture would be so much better.
