  1. .05" here. Absolutely unbelievable. Time after time every event misses us to the east. Even a God damn tropical storm tracking to our west puts us in a dry slot and drops the rain east of us.
  2. Got .31" Friday afternoon and evening. .5" Monday night, and .3" yesterday afternoon. Better than nothing, I suppose. Brings the total since May 3 up to 5.51".
  3. Fred gets a big fat "F". What an absolute bunch of nothing out here.
  4. After my meltdown on Monday evening, we picked up .5" that night. 0 since.
  5. Some minor activity came at me from the south. Lined up right at me, then skipped 1/2 mile to my east as it arrived at my door step. Nearby PWS has. .35" and climbing. Sprinkles here. Then that cell skipped right back to the west the moment it was north of me. I swear you couldn't pilot it that well to do that. Its ****ing incredible. WTF. And now that cell has exploded just to my north. And the next cell slides just off to my west. I ****ing give up. I'm ****ing done.
  6. Then I'm headed to the store to buy another bottle of sunscreen.
  7. As depicted that pixel is south of me about 20 miles. But I know damn well where it ends up verifying.
  8. .03" yesterday/overnight. Now sitting at 4.71" since May 3.
  9. Energy hit a wall to my SW and little bit of action firing about 1/4 mile to my ENE, moving away. Just another day in the 1-mile diameter desert.
  10. Round #4 failure is especially comical, since this is an entirely new direction this week. If anyone needs a laugh, check the radar to see that swath of storms coming from the SW slam into the drought dome and vaporize.
  11. Pretty much. King of the post- storm- that-missed-me .03" stratiform drizzle.
  12. When it rains, it pours. ...or something like that.
  13. Now a STW for Stephens City. Lol. Can't make this shit up.
  14. Storms have been here for 2 hours. Got scraped by round 1 as a cell popped over top of me just south of the first cell that was missing me to the north. Picked up. 25" while on the verge of nothing....sun shone for most of that. Round 2 did exactly what they normally do: pass by to the north and south then merge into a line once east of me. Not a drop from that one, meanwhile that line is now raging. Absolute continuous thunder. No doubt torrential rain. Guess I'm good for the next 5 weeks.
  15. I've not seen a temp higher than 94F since I moved here....before yesterday's 99F. 89F today at freaking 11 AM. And the DP is 72F, yesterday was in mid 60s. And without a doubt another 2-day stretch of storms sliding to my north and south, before pounding all points east. Hooray.
  16. I have 0" for the month of Aug. Since the 1.1" that fell on July 10 (I believe), I have received .3". Good thing I was flooded with 3" over the 9 weeks previous to that to get me through the dry spell. Loved driving through puddles for 30 miles home the past 2 days to see them disappear instantly when I get 1/2 mile from my driveway. Thats almost as pleasurable as driving through the green pastures and see them turn into cinder-grass (yes, I just coined that term) just as quickly.
  17. Missed every single cell/ line. And they were every where the last 2 days. A perfect 0 - for.
  18. Radar is lit everywhere except.......
  19. Check that: missed to the north and south twice each today.
  20. And now storm miss to the south. Check. The day is complete.
