  1. Good to see that last night produced like yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that, and ......
  2. Another day, another shut out. The only storms today formed north of winchester.
  3. Yes, about 6 weeks ago. Just in time for mega-drought.
  4. Had a solid line approach from the SW and it split right around us. We're getting light drizzle while thunder booms. .03". Jesus fucking christ. Why did i move back to this cursed place.
  5. Once again, due west storm movement today. Time to turn on the sprinklers.
  6. Another day, another shutout. Shocker.
  7. Very hazy out. Glad to see we could outperform that forecast.
  8. Imagine the heat of the Sahara and the humidity of the Amazon jungle. Combine those two and you've got the DC area summer climate.
  9. 2 straight days of 90% chance of heavy rain yielded not a single drop. 70% is a guarantee to continue my drought.
  10. Yep. Haves and have nots. It never changes.
  11. Another day, another utter fail. Watching showers once again evaporate into thin air as they approach from the west. The northern and southern segments once again strengthen and in-between falls apart.
  12. 3 inches by Labor Day? Wow. Very bullish.
  13. Typical haves and have nots. Wash, rinse, repeat. Sprinklers turned on.
  14. Sunny here. But what else is new? Already have my lawn sprinklers setup and ready to go this evening.
  15. It's frustrating. It's June 25 and the best we've done this year is a decaying storm with 2 claps of distant thunder and a few minutes of moderate rain a couple weeks ago. Thankfully, we did get an inch from the 2-day mid-week drizzlefest. But it literally took 36 consecutive hours to get there; we averaged about .03"/hr. For much of it, the ground remained dry under shrubs and trees. Drought relief aside, I'd just like to see some GD interesting weather. Good luck to you, tomorrow.
  16. Not a drop the past 2 days. As soon as it goes convective, we're dry toast. Apparently, it's meteorlogically impossible to get a thunderstorm in stephens city.
  17. Best rains of the event here now. Up to .65" on the day.
  18. It's reached the point in this miserable region where now we even need nighttime for the rain to accumulate.
  19. This is has complete bust written all over it out here. Everything is sliding up east of the blue ridge.
  20. After hours of watching the blob of rain evaporate on approach, we are finally under green.... And it hasn't produced even 1 drop of rain.
  21. Lol watching it rain all around stephens city. Rain shield still remains, strong as ever. It's great to be back.
  22. Good luck. It wasn't much here. Lots of orange on radar, but nothing more than 3 rumbles of thunder and moderate rain. .39", so can't complain too much. And it's 60F at 10:30. Nice morning.
