  1. The long range sure went to hell. Couple of Rainers pretty far north into CNE Sunday and next week. All that advertised cold that was coming . Poof
  2. Nice 1-2” into tomorrow morning. Maybe some lucky town pulls 3”.. I for one , am so looking forward to it .
  3. This thing tomorrow night reminds me of one on the nite before Tgiving maybe 9-10 years ago. A cold system with fluff that dropped a couple inches and that afternoon of Tgiving warmed well into the 30’s. Maybe even over 10 years ago. It started with temps in the upper teens and lower 20’s. I bet Will’s steel trap memory can recollect the year
  4. It’s a regionwide 1-2” lolli 3” deal . Most towns get 1-1.5” It’s a win . Move on and cherish what is being given in a very unfavorable pattern
  5. I’m planning and counting on 1-2” tomorrow night . And have a feeling there’s st a minimum flakes in the air Xmas Day at some point
  6. Well that never happens like that. Probably a 1 in 50 year thing . It was pure Morch fluff. Vanished 2 days later like a fart under the covers
  7. Yes. That was some type of upslope deal that skipped NW CT hills and most of ORH somehow which I never quite understood. Models kept pegging this area for days. I ended up with 7-8”. It was very mesoscale. I mean you went 2-3 miles in any direction and less elevation and you quickly went to little or no snow. I have never seen something like that here to that degree in all the years here . The cool thing was it was actually falling over the valley as echoes showed the snow there, but it was deposited in the NE CT hills while the valley literally had nothing
  8. Everything really iced over except street. Trees, bricks, deck and car windows
  9. I think shady areas, hilly areas etc can keep it . It’s fluff though
