  1. If Euro , EPS, Reggie are right it is. I’m still hoping they’re wrong but we are running out of time . I just want ice if not snow . Would suck to lose all this snow
  2. It’ll be a snow eater to you initially but you’ll flip to accumulating snow before it ends .. we’ll end as sleet or snow
  3. This is going to wipe out all the snowpack . These always continue amping
  4. So you’re thinking rain or snow and not much ice ? Hopefully ice and snow sinks south
  5. You’re talking snow though right? A lot of us here are pulling for ice
  6. Let’s hope it cancels the snow eater Friday
  7. Let’s not forget.. 2 days ago the Euro showed what the GFS is showing now with a SNE snowstorm. While the GFS showed what the Euro now has. A furnace for most . Now they’ve flipped . Completely
  8. Sure hope that’s the case with this. We don’t want 12-30” of snow pack wiped out in less than a day
  9. Shabbs brought up good point on text . TX last Feb. Said euro got destroyed by all other models. Had them torching and we know how that one ended up . All depends on position of arctic front
  10. This blows. The one time that GD model is right this winter will be this
  11. Rains to southern Maines this run. Hope to God EPS is different
  12. Southern streams amp and pump the ridge. That High is a beast though. Will be interesting battle
  13. Euros not going to get the thermals that wrong this close in. Gfs will lose I think
  14. You wonder if the modeling are on the right track with the low level cold push and frigid surface temps , but not warm enough at midlevels. Maybe they snap the midlevel warmth up vs just frigid entire column. We’ll see what the Euro does.
  15. You’ve definitely changed! I love it
  16. I’m wondering if this doesn’t turn into a sleet fest for much of SNE and zr threat is more SCT? I’d prefer the zr here, but this has that look to me .
  17. Full snowpack here since Jan 7th. Very difficult to do in SNE in La Ninas . My pack fetish has been satisfied this month along with frequent snowfalls
  18. I’m sure there’s been times, but I cannot recall a storm like this that went from rain to heavy icing. We’ve seen rain to sleet obviously, but I just don’t remember any that stayed as zr after starting as rain
