There seems to be two issues with many folks on this. 1) the qpf queens are really out in full force more than usual 2) Lack of seeing how strong the easterly inflow is with this. When you see snowfall printed out way back into Central NY.. you’d better take your numbers up east of there -
I have 6-12 W CT and 12 -20 river east. If I had to drill down my area, I’d expect 14-18” will be the range that falls

With that east inflow progged there will be heavy snow bands back to Logan11 in E NY. He’ll have 10” at one elevation and 18” at the other.

When did you turn into MPM? You are in a prime location .

It just creates 2 feet of snow blown down to the grass and a very not uniform snowfall landscape and pack .

Yes they did. The Euro was steady and the GFS was… well the gfs. Always biased east on snowstorms. Noones ever been able to explain why
