  1. As many here surmised. The very wet summer pattern has gone dry and should continue thru winter. https://x.com/ericfisher/status/1722744244329120000?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
  2. There is a 3-5 day window starting Friday or Saturday of temps in the 60’s to near 70. They can pretend they don’t see it or it’s not real.. but it’s there in guidance
  3. Of course the only time the Euro guidance is right is when it shows a furnace Tgiving week
  4. Furnace showing up now on all guidance next weekend and into Tgiving. Was hoping to avoid and some of those GEFS runs be correct .
  5. Hopefully y’all watching the CMA’s right now . Beers, Bryan, Boobs, Jelly Roll
  6. That was a cold storm. I remember that snow being very powdery right down to the shore.
  7. And suddenly … it’s stick season. About 90% trees bare now. Some straggler Oaks .. nightmare leaf season winding down
  8. As winter? No Winter starts with sustained cold and snow .. not measurable and then melted
  9. Add up your totals and then look at what is normal . And post
  10. Well yes. But what on God’s Green Earth does that have to do with the furnace holiday week? There was .02-.015 of rain regionally in SNE early AM
  11. We’ve been telling em’ there is a 3-5 day window Tgiving week .. possibly the holiday itself that pushes or even exceeds 70 . Signal is quite evident. Factor in it’s been Stein and dry the last month or so, no vegetation and strong zonal west downslope flow. Likely areas will overperform and furnace .Going to be ugly . We may possibly see folks roasting and basting turkeys in pans and aluminum foil on rooftops , roads , and driveways in the sun.
