They came to Northampton once like eight years ago. Maybe once the casino opens in Springfield we have a shot of getting the eastern folks here?
They just like to hold them around the holidays and they don’t travel so it hurts many

I told my wife to take a picture now cause it's the best the lawn will look all year. Only goes downhill from here.
May 20th is the magical date. Lawns reach their peak on that date around here. It never fails. Even in cold springs, droughts etc

Lol. That’s from Oklahoma in 2014

Hmm, Lesco guy told me to re-apply more of the dimension/pre-emergent stuff, presumably step 1 on memorial wknd. I basically put down the pre-emergent around 3.5 weeks ago. He said if I had any left to put it down this wknd. I do in fact have ~1/2 bag that I was going to spread out using a light setting. Should I skip this and go right to step 2? If so, has enough time elapsed (~3.5wks) between step 1 and 2 to put #2 down?
I don’t know your personal lawn situation. But lawns need to be fertilized. It’s not open for discussion. If you want grass and not an undesirable eyesore that neighbors and passers by don’t laugh at. If you’ve got weeds. You’ve got to weed and feed

It’s step 2 Weed and Feed time for Lesco. Right around Mem Day weekend every year it goes down

Thank your for putting this together. Great detail and very well written.

Memorial Day itself looks like a very active day with HHH ahead of the front

The terrain is such a big factor in New England. Most tornadoes in our forecast area end up occurring on or near lakes, in these N/S or NW/SE oriented valleys.
What about June 2011? What made that one stay OTG from the valley right thru the 1,000+ foot hills of Brimfield, Monson, Charlton, and Sturbridge?

I inspected the Oaks and the leaves are absolutely loaded with tiny little gypsies. Leaves aren’t fully mature yet as you can see in picture and there’s tons of holes already eaten .

Friends are trapped at CFC complex in Bethany. Said they have to stay the night inside the bubble. Said doors were sucking in and out and looks like apocalypse outside with pieces of roof in lot. Likely TOR from Bethany to Hamden
