64° here for the low off a high of 85° yesterday. It'll be interesting to see how high places can get today. Can ORH hit 90° at the airport?
Should crush 90 easily. Probably 94 ish

Sunrise Surprise setup Thursday morning - maybe lingering into midday? Strong veering in low levels with decent flow and some surface based CAPE. Seems like a conditional tornado/severe threat with low CAPE/high shear setup.
0-1km shear over 25 knots which is respectable... especially with low LCLs.
Long Island or SNE?

Until the power grid fails, nobody likes HHH for days and days unless they can escape to AC, people who work outside might differ with your office worker perspective
You wonder if that may happen this upcoming weekend or early week. Something akin to the Son of Sam NYC blackouts that summer in the late 70’s.

The caterpillars are awful here again this year....seems like its a much smaller zone this season versus last year, but I guess we were one of the "lucky" areas to get them again....hopefully next year they are gone.
Yes!! Love the damage. We’ve got em here but not as bad as last year . Took this last night.

Heard you this morning on Fox 25; almost as famous as Kevin from Tolland! Glad you are ok
Glad he’s ok. Storm chasing has its inherent dangers. But the thrill of the chase is what drives us. It’s the danger and the damage.

0.86" here. Great lightning and thunder show last night along with a few downpours. You missed out I guess.
That is some experience. Glad you're still here to tell the tale. I know there are people that think they want that experience but I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
It came. .98

This is one we pat each other on the back over, slap hi- fives and tell grandchildren about. An 80 dew is something deeply special
