  1. Cold , dry , fast flow next week. At least pond skating will start early this year. Black, glare ice by mid week
  2. This week looked like a slam dunk. When Scooter posted it was coming on Monday morning folks got amped up. Fool us once , Shame on us
  3. That’s why next weeks threat is not legitimate. It’s the Euro pulling its usual nonsense like this week. Dry, cold next week
  4. Euro hit us good this week. That worked out how? I guess they’ll say that’s also a meltdown post
  5. So by saying “ There are no more threats “ Stop.. Thats a meltdown? Like really? I see no legit threats . I see a model showing light snow next Tuesday . I thought melts were when people just lost it like Scooter over the years
  6. I still have yet to find anyone that can find a post where I had a meltdown. If you have it, can you copy it or link it here? Also how much snow are you forecasting for your area?
  7. You can take your FV3 and FV3efs and toss them as far as you can
  8. Doesn’t get any better than when Ginx posts about NNE snows .
  9. Where did I melt? Saying there’s no legit threats next week is a melt? Ok
  10. Last time we checked disappearing means no sign of. Vanished. Gone. I’m D .. None of the above
  11. I guess maybe you missed this? It’s ok. being developed under the name finite-volume cubed-sphere model (FV3)
  12. According to the gov’t. Not sure why you’re so angry. But it’s not called the GFS anymore Upgrade to the FV3Edit On June 12, 2019, after several years of testing, NOAA upgraded the GFS with a new core and dynamic scaling that uses the finite volume method. The resulting model, being developed under the name finite-volume cubed-sphere model (FV3), inherited the GFS moniker, with the archaic GFS model continuing to be run until December 2019.[9][10] Initial testing of the FV3 showed promise, outperforming the Integrated Forecast System in terms of hurricane tracks during the 2017 hurricane season (the IFS had been the most accurate operational model in predicting the paths).[11]
  13. Don’t look at snowfall maps. Look at trends. That would be a nice 2-4” event for interior CT. We don’t want amped . We want 18z. Pope wants amped for his rains to Maine’s scenario
  14. This absolutely proves. Seasons in seasons. Morch is and should be spring. Winter sets in , in November (like this year)and is over in Morch . The public understands https://imgur.com/a/iJRKHaV
  15. Agreed. It is #2 . FV3 is dead last in all facets. Why do people still call it the GFS, ? Mets worth their stones do not look at it or use it. Yet on here, you’ll see posts about it and people thinking that it has any credence. That to me is mind boggling .
  16. I’m expecting a couple inches and snowcover for the weekend frigid snap . That’s it
  17. It’s a function of a stronger system spreading 3+ amounts further south and East . And also increasing higher amounts north
