  1. Coming in waves. As soon as two dissipate.. three more drop down in tandem. It continues like this for many, many hours . Just on the cape
  2. Can envision 7-10 Tors ripping across the Cape tonight under the cover of darkness. By 6:00 PM, you should be under a king sized mattress in the tub
  3. That BOX has 35-40 is hilarious. Whomever issued that map has no iota of SNE Climo knowledge in these SE screamer events. You can basically draw a line from about SE VT down to BDL or just east down to Madison .anywhere east of that line gusts 50-55 mph with the highest over the shore and elevations. That’s in the normal events which this one is. This looks almost identical to the one on Nov 15th. They didn’t have HWW or even advisories and everyone east of that line gusted 50-60mph prior to the fine line squall line
  4. Jer.. my man. I truly hope you’re right about a big middle of month on thru the end. Just super gunshy this year . Gut instinct tells me not to invest in these big ideas.
  5. Yeah.. you can see the beginnings of it there. I hope it’s wrong . It def could be. I’m just worried . That’s all
  6. Seemed like way out was starting to lose the +PNA
  7. Yes, but .. the worry and look is it’s starting to show a look mid and especially later month if what we’re in now. That has been my worry all along and now some longer range stuff is starting to show that. I got accused of trolling and my honest to God gut was that exact scenario .
  8. It’ll be 50-55 mph gusts like these events always are. You can put it in the bank. Scattered tree and power line damage. Elevated CT always rips 50-55 mph gusts in these and over 60 in the high end ones. It’s all valley and sea level SE of here so nothing stops the winds as they hit the hills . BOX has a bunch of new mets that don’t understand CT topography
  9. We tried to tell em. They always say meh and then it roars. We know what’s coming
  10. Precisely. Typically what happens in NE is if you lose Dec , you lose the winter. Not always, but usually .
  11. Why must you always babble and bark at the moon?
  12. You probably don’t know but all SNE sites avg a snowfall in Nov of various amounts
  13. We’ve wasted all of Nov. I’m trying to see if we can salvage a few days to a week of December before Sutherland’s mid and late month retorch sets in. Just trying to grab one snowfall .
  14. I recall it was after Dec 5th , then after the 8th. Then overrunning then an ensemble compromise .Now it’s into mid month. At some point something has to change
  15. I’m gone just no melts . The pattern looks abysmal
  16. Close.. but instead of TH, it’s Fox Farm. http://www.foxfarmbeer.com/ What I wouldn’t give for an icestorm like that. Just once in my lifetime
  17. Who remembers this? Why can’t this happen in today’s climate? The great SNE icestorm 1921. https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/pdf/10.1080/00221342208984139
