  1. Posting on the toll road looks up as he read ends the park ranger
  2. Well there were a ton of posts about them and how good they looked and the hope was the EPS moved towards them.. which of course they didn’t
  3. This was exactly what my worries/ concerns were last week when I got blasted. This blows
  4. So no shot at what It’s never sunny said? 100% warm cutter rains to Maine’s?
  5. The one next weekend does have a chance at redevelopment with the -NAO and block . It won’t be shocking if we see modeling start to move that south over the next couple of days
  6. It really does the wonders for the soul and psyche to have snow during the holiday season. A rare snowy December morning . I know it’s gone by next weekend so will cherish while we have it.
  7. Yeah. 800 feet and above had 6” in town. There was 3-4 under 650’

  9. I’ve seen those Hi res models literally nail it to the hilltop the last few years. I don’t know if anyone except me remembers, but there was that crazy event 2 winters ago in March that dropped 8” here . It was a pseudo upslope event . People weren’t buying it, yet all the Mesos were popping 6-10”. They absolutely nailed it. The crazy part was .. the heavy snow band was actually falling 20 miles to our west. But the upper level winds deposited the snow from Union down to here. It was so localized. If you went 2 miles in any direction of that line you literally had nothing . If you looked at the radar that night, it looked like the river valley was getting crushed . They had nothing. It all fell in the NE hills. My point is.. when the mesos hone in run after run with these tiny pixels, they’re usually dead nuts on.
  10. 6” https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=BOX&product=PNS&issuedby=BOX
  11. Burlington, CT down to Wolcott west of the river had 3-7” today . Again though only elevations . It’s got something to do with that. The HRRR and NAM 3k both nailed the amounts and elevations here and in that area . You literally could pick out the pixels over the higher spots .
  12. It makes you wonder if like BOX.. they don’t take NE CT elevation into account . Could be they perceive the area as BDL at sea level
  13. Still snowing here as I pop on floodlights . Actually has covered the driveway again
  14. It’s still 32 here. It’s been 31.7- 32.1 since about noon
  15. Hey Walt .. I had 6” here at 1K in Tolland . Here’s BOX pns . Quite a few 6+ reports. https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=BOX&product=PNS&issuedby=BOX
  16. Walt . Interior elevated areas had 6-10” from Tolland County up thru ORH county
  17. Yeah radar is broken tinight. Still accumulating snow here currently
  18. Probably end up 6.5 or so. Maybe 7”, but that is a stretch .Still another few hours .
  19. These storms always do that. They usually end quickly in far western New England, but they tend to love to pivot back moderate to heavy bands as they mature and pull away. So it ends up snowing hours longer than thought . From about 91 east
  20. Yeah TOL county has been sitting under that band the last few hours
  21. Take a video . I love that sound. I’ve got a couple pines too but it’s been so windy it’s blown a lot off
