My exact thoughts/feelings here. I haven't seen an inch of snow on the ground here in.... I can't even remember. Just to see it falling and getting and inch or two would make me happy! Also, IMO, half the fun of these things is having something to track 4 days out, etc. It's why we're all on here and have fun with it!

Glad we don't cliff dive in the mountain forum. We've seen things change for the BEST or WORSE within a day. It's never over until it is.

Agree on the GFS. Hard to trust anything within 3 days at this point. Let's hope it keeps it up. We're overdue. At least by Thursday afternoon runs we'll have a pretty good idea. So, 4 days away? LOL!

Still living in the twilight zone here. Barely know what day it is. Days and days of constant work. Good news is I got power back yesterday and the concrete is finally drying out. Hoping to get floors in within 2 weeks. Finished up ripping all the carpet up and went through the storage, lost a lot, sadly. Staying at mom's place for the moment with my animals. Once we get flooring and the place is livable, we're moving her in since she's getting kicked out of her apartment complex for a month or so, for repairs. Her place flooded as well but is livable. The chaos continues! We are alive though, and safe. Have to look on the bright side right now or else I'd go insane. I hope everyone is doing as well as they can be! No flood insurance so... this process is going to be long. And confusing. Thankfully I've got family and friends donating some money. It means a lot. Unimaginable event. It still hasn't fully hit me. It has been hard for me to ask for help but if you'd like to send me anything via Venmo or CashApp, I'd be appreciative. Truly never thought I'd be in this situation. Not sure if DMs are a thing on here but I can edit the post with the info if you're unable to message me if you'd like to. Thanks y'all! Hope we never had to go through this again.

Hope y’all are doing alright! Pretty wild that I haven’t had a chance to check in on many things. Still no power. House cleaned out at least of all water and carpet. Been working non-stop for 8 days. Taking a rest day today. Still really hard to take in all that has happened and all that continues to. We will be back better than ever! .

I’m here! Connection has been dismal! We are safe. House got flooded, having to rip all of the carpet out, etc. Also, mom’s apartment was flooded and trying to find a place for her to stay while they repair everything. Just chaotic and honestly traumatic. Just happy to be alive and safe and the same with my family and friends. I hope you all are doing ok. Going to be a long road ahead of us but WE GOT THIS! .
