    Appears to be a severe threat middle of next week for most along and south of I-80. SPC has a day 5 and 6 slight risk outlined for those areas.

    This thread is for discussion of weaker non thread worthy severe threat and medium range potential events. Speaking of which. SPC just recently added an enhanced area for large hail for SE MO and SW IL. Slight risk area surrounds that up to S IL.

    I actually believe that report. Been getting huge snowflakes at a heavy rate here for at least the last 30 minutes.

    Kuchera map is not as impressed especially farther south where the change is quicker. Same goes for 12z Euro Kuchera.

    0z GFS is pretty robust with the clipper Sat/Sun.

    0z GFS appears to be holding its ground.

    0z RGEM has a deform band for the ages.

    3k NAM looks the same but the deform band looks more impressive.

    0z NAM is still lost. Low is south and a touch weaker than 12z and yet plain rain all the way to 70.
