Why isn’t the snow starting 4 hours before it’s supposed to start?

It looks like a uniform 0.2”-0.25” through most of the area (outside mountains and far eastern areas) with exception of NE MD with 0.1”+.
Closer to the coast is what I saw. Not much discernible difference other than that. Pretty distinct screw zone from NE Md up into souther pa like you said.

12k Nam looks to have scooted the band west from the coastal. Waiting on better maps.

lol I just looked at the 6z 3k NAM. Pretty crazy amounts that drop off to almost nothing over a relatively short distance. Insanely sharp cutoff.
It’s wild. I can’t remember a storm with such a drastic change, even within a country. Good luck out there.

Trying to figure out where we are before I hop on a boat and lose service - maybe an 1” so far?I certainly don’t have an inch yet. Maybe 0.5.

Bouncing between 33 and 32. Steady snow on the edge of the band through the district. Looks like a quarter to half inch. Woo

Sorry I couldn’t Join earlier but would be interested in doing one tonight!

It’s a 20 mile wobble. Noise. We know where the bands will set up anyway.

I wanna hear someone defend this model.
Why waste your time slowly caving like the Euro when you can do it in one magnificent run….

I’m sure this is a point that has been echoed by many before, but the fact that we have so much guidance at this point only muddies the waters. So many possible outcomes and scenarios that all feel legitimate… you trick yourself into thinking that the 48hr HRRR could be right just once.
That said, the NAM looks to be against the growing consensus. I wouldn’t be fretting too much in SEVA over it, though it’s a flag.Definitely to much available. Kids are napping so I had some free time haha.
I don’t have much hope up here but I think EZF southward looks promising.
