Superstorm

Northern and Central Lancaster County got screwed.  Some 7-9" near the MD line and that was with mixing at Delta and near Strictlerville.  Seems the storm shut off more quickly than modeled.  Coastal pulled it out instead of pushed it up...someone else had mentioned that last night.   Dillsburg reported 8" which is the highest I have seen away from the MD line so far.  Upper Strausburg had 6.5.  I had 7.  
 
Easy shovel as only about 4" on the pavement. Nice, peaceful morning for what might be the last one of the season.  
 
EDIT-FV3 has 3 possible shovel events in the next 15 days.  LOL.  Hmmm...

Ended up a little over 5” just west of Lancaster City.

This was a pure paste job.

I wonder what cities are reporting snow in PA Bc the radar shows snow as Far East as central PA

100% fact. Said it many times but it's hard for the younger crowd to get it. 
As a kid, a 4-8" snowstorm was a HUGE deal. 

It really does...did you see Horst's tweet about being in the best forcing after 5pm?

Anyone watch the weather channel anymore? I watched it for 10 mins and was done. When I was a kid I had it on 24-7 during winter lol. I couldn’t last 10 mins in this day and age. 

Moisture source is extensive gulf and Atlantic. If we had a block it would be massive. 

This little bit of overrunning is going to help us stay cool thanks to less insolation/more wet-bulbing. Despite starting a bit milder than guidance, it may all even out in the wash as the main batch moves in. HRRR looks like it's catching up to this idea. Giddy up.

Best part of what he said to me was the 5pm -11pm timeframe for the height of the storm. After sun angle issues but before bedtime.
