    I have seen snow accumulate 15” at 35F in Jersey. It was during night hours. .

    No argument there. I was at least a little optimistic with the GFS ensemble runs. Let's see what Dr. No has to say about all this.

    Agree. If we had an cold air prior to both of those events, we would at least be looking at thump to rain/drizzle.

    And next weeks storm is following the same type of path. Less and less snow as we get closer and closer.

    A La Niña that never wants to die does not help. .

    The PAC has been relentless. Until I see that ease up, our chances are very slim to almost none. Although, some say there are signals after the 20th that it will ease up.

    I got up to 54.5F on the home station. Let’s see how low we can go in a 24 hour period. .

    It’s the same for precip too. Need to take a broader and larger range to get a true average. .

    After this event, it might be close the blinds for 2 to 3 weeks. .

    I am east of that blue. Based on my ring camera, it was snowing but there is no snow accumulation. Everything just wet. .

    First time in a long time that models kept moving East with each run and they were still too warm in Lancaster. .

    I was in Cheektowaga NY this past weekend visiting a friend. Only picked up about 11” of snow. .

    That LES slated for BUF will be chase worthy. To bad it’s Christmas and Christmas Eve. .

    Asia’s growth has impacted global warming significantly. .

    Yes this will be fun to track, regardless. Intense blizzard and follow up lake effect should be intense. .
