  1. GFS was very close and definitely a good step as Larry said.
  2. I think the MJO is playing a bigger role than some like to think. It has been in general unfavorable phases this winter.
  3. The low in the lakes has been a persistent issue on the GFS
  4. In actual analysis, the 18Z GFS is too warm with less of a cold push than the Euro
  5. If you have an issue feel free to PM me. You are cluttering up the thread
  6. I'm just being realistic. Temps as progged are 32-36
  7. That's 10-1 this won't be 10-1 if it's snow at all
  8. I heard it wasn't even 70 in Athens so it can't be 74 in McDowell
  9. That was the perfect blend almost. The cold pressed just enough and the storm track was ideal
  10. It's not a huge hit but I would take it in a heartbeat
  11. Saying the climate hasn't changed is like saying living near Chernobyl doesn't increase the odds of cancer.
  12. Nothing screams February 10 like 70° at 11:30 a.m.
  13. Canadian is rain too in case anyone was wondering
  14. About time to give up on this time period. I can only see it trending warmer and north with flooding/severe the main threats
  15. GFS is another perfect track miller A rainstorm
  16. It's the ICON but it looks much better than the GFS or Euro (will probably be squashed)
  17. You can always tell when things look bad. No GaWx or Met1985 posts
  18. Yep. Most folks in the foothills and western piedmont are about a month away from their longest snowless streak ever.
