  1. Fv3 agrees. 1-2 for most of md and Virginia.
  2. Gfs with 1-2” from Baltimore south.
  3. This map doesn’t look terrible when the greatest potential out of this was maybe 1-3” in the first place. If you think of it like that this euro map doesn’t look terrible and still leaves the door open for a general 1-3” event. It does show snow...
  4. Icon is north and slightly wetter. All snow Baltimore north. Mixing issues south most likely.
  5. It went wetter and norther right after the euro lost it.
  6. Exactly. Haha...what if the March 6 threat mysteriously turns into the March 8 threat?
  7. IMO it’s kind of a tightrope walk with the Monday deal. If Saturday’s system amps to much we are suppressed but if it’s weak sauce we won’t have enough cold and it’s probably a 95 north and west at best kind of deal. Wednesday could still trend back in our favor but appears to be more of a Miller b type that favors the NE if anyone. Saturday’s system will set the stage for Monday and Monday sets the stage for Wednesday. Still a long way to go.
  8. I’m totally fine with that, given the cmc and yukie solutions.
  9. Icon has the cutter solution on Saturday which then suppresses the flow to much for the Monday system. A perfect example as to why each of these upcoming systems will have big implications for the one after.
  10. Icon came south for Friday. Norther areas get some accumulating snow.
  11. Just got nam’ed on Friday...solid 1-3” with 4-5 lolies north and west.
  12. Do you think this look could end up helping suppress the Friday threat enough to turn it into a legit snow producer for us?
  13. Gonna go out on a limb and say 12z GEFS took a good step in the right direction for our March 6 threat. Just looking at 500mb charts.
  14. It’s interesting that we potentially have our most active window for winter weather this winter setting up for the first week in March. These threats are quickly starting to show up in the elusive medium range too!
  15. GEM with the storm on the 6th. Very nice. Gfs is south and fv3 is souther on the 6th. Don’t mind being where we are right now. 3 chances in the next 9 days of someone getting accumulating snow in our sub.
  16. Euro puts down 1-3” dc north and west Thursday night/Friday morning.
  17. Icon looks interesting dc north for Friday. Even better I 70 north. Improvement over its 12z run.
  18. Models did lock on to the last 2 winter weather producers on February 10-11 and 19-20 pretty early on.
  19. I know it's the end of the HRRR run but here's the total at 13z in the morning.
