  1. 94/71 in Holyoke, high (so far) was 95
  2. Dews much lower than yesterday here, and still falling.
  3. Mini-splits here have used a total of 2.3kWh since midnight. keeping it very comfortable. I'm sure the ancient central AC that used to live here would have used many times that, especially with the attic ductwork.
  4. Overnight low of 69.4 here in Holyoke.. 72.3/71.7 now. Gonna be a scorcha! minisplits FTW.
  5. Briefly broke 90F at noon in Holyoke, but clouds on and off knocked us back a bit.. slowly clawing back. 89.2/72.8 now. Florida place is currently 87.1/75.2, so heat index about the same..
  6. humidicious out.. we got 0.86 yesterday, unfortunately peak rate was 2.27 in/hr.. the new backflow valve we had installed last fall seems to seep a bit, resulting in an unplanned test of the home monitoring system (happened last saturday as well while we were on the road up from FL). Nothing major, just water in the basment shower pan.. Guess I'll be talking to the plumber next week.. damn ancient city sewer systems..
  7. Stuff sliding by just to the northwest. Not convinced there is anything behind it.
  8. 87/71 here in Holyoke. Juicy enough for some action, but we'll see..
  9. 96.8 for the high here in Holyoke
  10. Low of +5.7F in my part of the Holyoke highlands.. Heat pumps are chugging along nicely..
  11. lookin' wintry in the Holyoke Highlands...
  12. rant the local SoFL teevee morning on-can met keeps giving the impression that it is impending doom if you're inside the cone and no big deal if you're just outside the cone. She did that yesterday, and just did it again today. /rant
  13. Dews coming up nicely in Holyoke, occasional breaks of sun
  14. lots of thunder and lightning in Holyoke, rain just starting
  15. we got about 1.3 inches in Holyoke since 3PM, but the dewpoint didn't budge - still 75.
