Approaching 3”. Just took our 16 year old Scottie out on the front lawn since she loves snow as much as me. Given her age, we try to cherish all the moments like this.

I thought the heavier amounts of snowfall should be happening now through the overnight hours.  Am I in a temporary snow hole?  Planes are taking off from DCA or maybe landing because I can hear them on my semi -Jeb walk with the dog.  What should I expect?

It’s mod snow in Alexandria so I’m surprised you’re not seeing anything in GTown.  On track for 2-5” in the DC metro.

A terrific jebwalk, only slipped once on the hills.

So many kids out playing in the snow which was nice to see - they weren’t concerned about the 18z Hrrrrrrrr, back edge, rates, or ratios. Just out enjoying it. Just like this forum does….

Streets have caved.  1.4”.  Light snow.  I love that theres no wind either - keeps everything caked and covered.  

Just a hair shy of 1”…feels like an over performer at this point. Light snow, just beautiful. 

Just got home to a beautiful wintry scene. 28/light snow. Closing in on 0.75”. We’re a snow town! 

10 degrees / SN-.  
Looks like we got a coating at home too…happy to see an area wide pleaser on tap.

The hi res Canadian HERPEDERPES has it too.  A bit lighter than GFS but like 0.5”-0.9” for the metro areas.
