While I wouldn’t trust the GFS over the mesos at this range, it shows an icy morning Thursday across the area, especially favored N areas.

A significant event for eastern Garrett / western Allegheny county.

I’m skeptical at best for anything meaningful here but favored areas are a different story.  But even there, I don’t think this is going to be some kind of major ice storm.

Oh no, not them (it hasn’t been released in the media stories I’ve seen) but all the victim stories are so hard to read.  Especially the WSJ’s story last night showing the text message exchange between a mother / daughter right before the daughter boarded the plane.  Then the mother asked “Did you land?” - horrible.
