Some mesonet gusts of 68 to 72 mph in Anne Arundel and Howard Counties...

Yeah, it appears that the Patapsco River was a delineation line of sorts. Husband on the Anne Arundel side of the Key Bridge said that they probably got about a 65 mph gust there. But on the Baltimore County side of the Key Bridge it was surprisingly weak.

Just a note! Eastern NC is lit! Wow!

Message from friends who have been trying to get back home to Maryland. They ducked into a Marina in Southport, NC  yesterday.

"Tornado just ripped thru the area about 10 miles from us - we had to stand in front of the door to the sun deck to keep it from being blown open shearing the lock. 2 vessels near us lost all
canvas ( Bimini tops that they did not take down and secure ) and a sail boat at end of pier that did not secure the main sail - broke lines holding the sail and it is now flopping/shredding in the wind."

Feel like the Dec 11-12 time frame might need to be watched too. I like the end of the GFS run as well.  Looking forward to your first play by play of the season. ;)

Bank on it.  8 am flight to Key West on the 12th for a Friday the 13th birthday weekend.

Oh ok, then yeah your DP must be really high.

For future reference we usually write temp/DP/heat index

My bad. Quick search shows Inner Harbor and Annapolis DP's at 77.

The storm cluster moving SE into the Northern Chessy Bay look to be getting stronger. Forming a line at this time at the

    leading edge. Boaters beware !

Winds jumped from 5mph to 31 mph in approximately 90 seconds.  Of course this was probably 7 minutes after watching a pontoon boat w/ over five people on it, bugging out of the creek headed for the river...
