  1. Now Madison,CT 33.4F ground coated. It totally overcame the temps. Pretty cool to be awake to see the temp drop and the humidity rise so fast.
  2. Wow, it’s rapidly sticking to elevated surfaces. I have a solid coating on the deck already. Rapid temp drop. Now at 35.2F Holy moly !!! Now down to 34.7F while writing this. 5. About 15-20 minutes ago had a complete white out for a minute while taking the dogs out …. Yipes and coool. Hand in front of face snow blindness. Exhilarating to say the least. Average about 11.5” with medium confidence. Madison.
  6. Heavy snow now. Best measurement spots average to just over 9” but lots of drifting. 23F visibility keeps dropping to 1/4 mile and below.
  7. 5.25” average. Blowing and moderate to heavy snow. 23F stronger gusts must be about 25-30mph. Getting blustery. Plows are hitting side roads already. (Madison CT)
  8. (Madison CT) It’s been switching between pixie dust snow and sudden bursts of moderate regular snow as the waves of heavier snow seem to be flirting with the shoreline. Accumulation rates have varied between about 1”/hr and 1/4” / hr winds have been light with some gusts but it’s starting to gust much more and I’m noticing some drifting at the corners of the house. Measuring will need multiple spots pretty soon. (Just brewing coffee so multiple measures not “needed” just yet) 4.25” and 23F (down 4 in the last two hours) light snow, gusty winds now.
  9. Hey Jebman, I used to read your posts when I was in MD of the infamous Jebwalks. As others stated he was a snow lover, like us, who passed last year. Very nice group up here. Kinda like the CWG. Hope all is well.
