Definitely can't say I agree. Friday morning's commute will have some issues in places with it getting progressively worse.

Who knows. I'm thinking we're not going to have any road issues until it gets below 30 and that is not going to happen until Friday evening. Round one is not going to produce any problems. It's round two gets going earlier it's likely going to be on the south side and more sleet Friday morning with temps 33-35. Maybe colder up the peninsula.

We live very near you then, most of the local folks are giving an onset time in the early morning hours Friday. So if you are flying into Norfolk Friday morning you might be cutting it kind of close. NWS has mentioned an inch of snow overnight Thursday with Hampton Roads not expecting a break between systems.

There's not going to be any issues on the road in Hampton Roads or Northeast North Carolina until at the earliest Friday evening.

And then McCarthy defended the call. Ridiculous. If you wanted it closer then you throw a quickie to the sidelines to get that yardage. They were giving them that. You cannot run the ball with 24 seconds and no timeouts

You can with 24 seconds. The problem was they were only 14 seconds left.

Pretty cool storm after temps in the 70s. Took a little too long for the changeover to happen. Some snow is better than none. Next threat could be as soon as Thursday night but as of now that’s looking like a complicated setup

It's snowing here on the coast in Currituck NC. Just hours ago we had severe storms with intense lightning. A pretty impressive system.

First time I looked but NY City weenies are sweating the cutoff as well.

Big time and they have every reason to. The whole sub-forum is going to chase on Long Beach or Fire Island. That's a very tricky forecast up there as well. I could see the South Shore of Long Island getting a few inches but that's it. I bet you do ok being colder up top and at the surface.

So for setting up a snowboard I should put a piece of white wood on the lawn tonight then clear every six hours from the start of the snow. Anything I am missing?

Agree. Best threat we’ve had in a long time. Hope im wrong and we get measurable snow

I think you're going to do very well. Would rather be up between Ashland and Fredericksburg, but Richmond looks good. 80 degrees in Hampton Roads yesterday.  70 today. My DP was 67 just a few hours ago. Anything to break that pattern is welcome. I'll be monitoring severe storms and wind.

Cell split and went right around me.  Pity sprinkle while thunder and downpours pass a few hundred yards to my east and west.  No doubt they will merge again once safely north of me.

    I'm shocked!

That's awesome! Congrats! . Definitely takes alot of hard work , smarts, sacrifice and  sound financial decisions over the years to achieve the accomplishment of retiring at 50.

    It's family money....

Almost won the game in the 1st OT... the Islanders goalie got lucky with a save with his right pad -- didn't even see the shot/deflection, it hit his pad and rolled away.  The game probably would have gone on for a while longer if Jarry hadn't had a brain fart and tried to send the puck down the center of the ice for no apparent reason

Almost, Yoda. Isles 5-1 against Pittsburgh in playoffs.  So much more talent you would figure better results. They are soft. Got beat up. Goalie sucked too. Better team won.
