That's terrible news. I bet he's gone even through the playoffs. That's okay, they can do it by committee with Cano, Coulombe and Fuji. Do-able.

GSO maxed out at 88, at least a 7 degree bust for most tv forecasts, and about 10 degrees cooler than what GFS modeled
GFS has been bad overdoing the heat lately. By a lot.

Damn. They are saying it's his arm. That's Troublesome especially since he didn't throw one to check after that 2-1 pitch.

Hopefully Bautista just tweaked his left knee.

As Gary Cohen from the New York Mets broadcast said, if Baltimore management doesn't want Kevin Brown, there are 29 teams who do.
-
In the end Kevin Brown gets screwed because now he has a little bit of a sullied reputation with folks wondering what really happened. What could he have done to Angelo's to piss him off? Most likely nothing. But still it still besmirches his reputation a bit.
-
Bad job Orioles organization. Little Angelos took exception to this statement by their great play by play guy Kevin Brown regarding the Ray's back on 7/23. Suspended indefinitely.
That... “The Orioles have won more games against them this season than the last two combined”.
Seriously? That thin skinned? Brown was only reporting truth. He's one of the best baseball voices already. He'll be fine elsewhere hopefully.

Nice picture. Meager crowd makes for a relaxing time, IMO. Great job. Nice win too.

Doesn't matter it's all going to feel the same. Not much difference between 93 and 89. Enjoy your week. You picked a good one

Heading to HHI next week. Temps are forecast to stay in the 80s, which really isn't all that bad, though getting out in the sun will bake you pretty quick. Lows will be in the upper 70s, which sucks, but that's pretty normal.
You better check that forecast again mattie. 90s all week

Yep. If you've been getting rain this month, congratulations, you're getting more tomorrow. Meanwhile, if you haven't gotten rain this summer....
I'm confused. Are you in Cross Junction or back in Stephens City?

Brutal loss. Middle infielders blew it. Frazier dropped the relay then Mateo again flubs another grounder that would have ended the inning. Too bad. Great game.
-
NW Stafford cell looks nasty. That blew up in 10 minutes.

Opportunity/chance to win is hardly a cakewalk. Especially since they have no pedigree on this version of the team. They are right where they're supposed to be. Yankees are trending down and may sell. Jay's can't pitch. Boston and Rays...eh. Deadline deals will be a huge player.

Um. ok. Yeah. the Rays def suck. Weird take.
Where did I say that? Come on now. Tampa is good. They've been good for a long time.

Um. what are you going on about? The AL east is loaded. the worst record is four games above .500. The Orioles should be proud as hell to be in this position, because nothing comes easy.
Hardly loaded. No one in that division scares you. In fact the Orioles are probably the most dangerous at this point right now. It's theirs to lose.

First place Os
Huge win. Rays struggling. O's did what they had to. Such a winnable division. Where's the threat? Rays? Jay's? Sox? Should be at top of the east at the end.
-
Rough night. O's struggling. Need tomorrow against Urias before going into Tampa. Don't want to go down there losing three straight. But there's still some time left in this game Who knows.

Grayson back tomorrow. Has his work cut out for him, but the team is really clicking right now.
Didn't quite have it. He might never be the answer. At least right now. Had flashes of brilliance but can't work out of jams. Going to be a challenge with all these young guys coming up on their career high innings pitched. Going to eat a lot of help from either down below or outside to keep things rolling. Might see a little bit of a step back during the second half.
-
O's just need to figure out that middle infield situation. Pick up few more BP arms. Should be active at the deadline.

Got an additional 2.18 yesterday. It's a quagmire in the yard. Got lucky/unlucky the past 2 weeks. Almost 10 inches locally. Hit or miss. 10 miles north or south much less. I know what it's like on the other side watching collapsed cells approach praying for a tenth of an inch. Not this time.

Not a drop here. Crispy lawns. A brief shower yesterday barely wet the ground. Basically nothing for a few weeks. Hardly anything in August so far. Just unlucky.
