What a back alley setup this is. All this stuff is a sign of the airmass above us really warming. And right when the low cranks, there is no cold to wrap in.

It’s really weak support IMO on the ensembles. I just looked. I will say the EPS got a little cooler in the long range and the GEFS holding firm. The op run is really cold in the mid west which can be good for us. So all is not lost.

That ZR seems strange on the 2m temps. It’s quite a patch work look. Without a continuous drain of cold air I find those amounts tough to buy.

Gfs is basically some precip with the inv trough and that’s it.
