    Could be, Euro looked 85-90 Pike north into lower elevations of VT and NH. Merrimack Valley etc.

    Plenty of places within a 15 min drive or so. I know there is a Marriot in Peabody which is like 10-15 min away. Also, I wouldn't drive there either. I guess you could if you had to, but I know they discourage it.

    Never had an issue here with black flies. I've gone up to Winni around this time of year and they would eat your face off. Worse than mosquitoes.

    I saw one on our street on top of a hemlock. Was really cool to see. I saw a black crowned night Heron recently, but I guess they are common near rivers this time of year due to herring. We have a lot of herring around here.

    44 here but ironically cape and islands were coldest in the 30s.

    I didn’t include storms like Isis, otherwise October 2017, 2019, and 2021 would be there for me. But that severe is very localized. I mean from an overall busy season region wide. Been absolutely flaccid for years.
