Yeah the low retros and heights rise. It does have agreement with the tropical stuff too. Piggy doesn't look like a long standing feature.

At hr 126 it looks really interesting, 12 hrs later it starts to get decapitated lol.

Can't go anywhere with the s/w getting side kicked from the Pacific. Too progressive.

Yeah came ashore and did minor damage. Pretty wild, but was on SE side of the low so you had enough shear and some low level CAPE.

FWIW, I don't know if they'll be enough LES to really justify. It's subjective anyways..but it's going to be nuts there Friday into Saturday.

I think it was NWS BUF saying it, and they still are. Looks pretty intense there. I didn't see this for any place else. From a CONUS point of view, this is an impressive storm with some dynamics I have not seen in a long tine.

That's a defect with those. Assumes last 6 hrs is snow. Nope.

Still might be inverted a bit ahead of WF. But any convection will help.

There is a pulse of very strong winds from about NYC to MHT on east after fropa. Strongest of these winds look to be eastern CT to maybe NE MA on east. I haven’t looked at bufkit yet, but based on the point and click soundings, looks pretty nuts.

I know...I didn't expect much either, but I was getting triggered looking south and literally seeing curtains of snow 15 miles away. Reminded me a bit of watching a distant tstm. It was backlit a bit too with dim sun. That was the rt 44 area getting blitzed. But that was the S coast turn after they missed out on the first two Feb events, so all good I guess.

NAM starting the Berks into VT and NH (likely eventually ME) as snow.

The only thing that aggravated me that winter was 3/5/15. The Bruce Willis event. That irked me...but I know I really have no business complaining.

That was crazy. 95/100 times it probably would have kicked it OTS. But like everything else afterwards, it just made it work. Talk about luck during that stretch.
