  1. I could see 75-80 LDW. Perfect.
  2. Any relatives of yours live through it?
  3. Nah. EPS steadfast. We cool down. We back break. It's almost over.
  4. Gonna be a warm one today and tomorrow. Mon-Wed next week as well before some kind of cool down.
  5. I had no idea he got banned. No obs from Randolph I guess.
  6. Ha I remember that. He was great.
  7. What a cool shot modeled later next week.
  8. Yeah that's true. When it did get a bit more favorable, it was the shredder that ruined shortwaves.
  9. WKD, we like to have some fun too. We all know each other and are friends.
  10. At least he has Three Bridges nearby to end it?
  11. I didn't stay up all night for that one either haha. Probably only a few hours sleep though. The last true one for me, was Feb 2013. Will and I weenied out in that one. That Oct storm in 2021 was close for me, but slept a couple of hours. That was more due to power out and the sound of the wind.
  12. December last year was putrid. Definitely synoptic garbage. Jan and Feb had some crap luck out by ORH and to the NE by NE MA and points north. It was not a bad look overall.
  13. It was nice discussing weather with you, but we can no longer have a serious discussion about Froude #s.
  14. You're right. Just put me on mute because I don't have a stratus. If you don't have a stratus range gauge, you can't have a good meteorological discussion. Just hate to see it.
  15. Sometimes I go back to the last 6 hrs of obs and snow flake size to help. If it's S+ with good flakes, that's 2"+/hr. If I can barely make out the house across the street, it's 3+/hr. It just helps with determining what fell.
  16. I beat myself up more about measuring snow. It frustrates me when I can't get a good measurement...which happens a lot. Yet I love a good windy storm.
  17. It's true, I use my best judgement. The one I have breaks it down by 1/8" So a little more detail. Life gets busy, so I don't necessarily care too much if a whiff by a few hundredths when reporting. LOL.
  18. Nah. Truthfully, I'll probably order one on Amazon soon.
  19. Here's my snow LE judgement. If it's blowing off my roof, it's dry. If it's sagging the hemlock, it's wet.
