@ORH_wxman I am thinking of the wrong event. We had a few inches on 2/18/14. It was 2/13 I think where it dynamically flipped to SN nerby and I got porked.

That's what it reminded me of. Sort of on the outside looking in if your not in one of the heavier bands. I'm surprised it's not like big brother 12K NAM. Usually 3K would be even more exaggerated with these.

GFS is like a light 12/23/97. East winds near the coast. Temps near 32 inland. Cold aloft, decent s/w.
