  1. Because it all depends on codes and what not. I never said I didn’t believe it. But while you’re dropping your pants over hi rise damage, I’m trying to see what happened at the surface. Houses cars etc. we saw that with Michael and Dorian. I haven’t seen it yet.
  2. It has to do with the onset of precip. So that’s not too crazy. Let not forget two days ago the euro had parakeets for us Sunday and Monday.
  3. Here is the EPS for 850 wind anomalies. I see some westerly anomalies in the EPAC (probably in part from the tropical activity)..but nothing screams like some sort of crazy feature that will change us to super Nino. The larger WWB is actually retrograding to 135E. If the EPS is right, some WWBs west of the dateline in Novie.
  4. I'm not expecting this to act like a cold weak Nino event...but I simply don't see the strong typical response at this time.
  5. He's an arrogant tool who falls on his face with calls and doesn't acknowledge them like a respectable poster.
  6. I do not see the tropical response or standing wave like we typically have established in other strong Ninos up to this point. This is not behaving like those.
  7. Real borderline at 925 south of pike. I think you want a bit more of a dynamic system.
  8. Yeah. That's another point. Usually the pieces start to come together, or are in place. Think of standing waves etc. We don't have the typical strong response yet. So I'm not sure how much a downwelling kelvin wave is going to change the hemispheric pattern starting in November. I'm not being sarcastic...it's an honest take.
  9. The butterfly has hatched from their weenie winter cocoon.
  10. Very sorry to hear Jeff. This is a really tough stretch for you. All my best.
  11. It's a + tilted trough swinging in, so an offshore look certainly is valid. We'll see what the euro does. But for the GFS bias (not sure it's much of one anymore) the euro has the opposite bias too.
  12. That was a weird storm for CT. I think even Ginxy got hosed, yet to his north they got over 20". It was kind of a late bloomer.
  13. I think the front that you see there is designed to gradually slope out. Not necessarily lean.
  14. I expect later Novie into December to have that. Hopefully changes later December, but who knows that far out.
  15. Yeah when I saw that, looked like the design. I can see how it looks like it is leaning.
  16. Yeah hi rises have damage for sure. The stuff I've seen in lower spots doesn't quite have that look to me. Maybe we see more of that in the coming days. Hard to tell by chopper.
