  1. Looks like a jog east on guidance. Winds more related to ern CT and especially RI and SE MA. Big rains CT as a result.
  2. Losing that and ticking it west helps with the wind. But yeah those are clown maps and likely wild.
  3. It’s got a SSE elongation that might prohibit best winds away from SE areas.
  4. I’ll take the under on that.
  5. Not sure if the philosophy changed, but BOX loves those ensemble probs for winds. But, right at the shore may have trouble getting uber gusts because of the inversion with cooler SSTs. I don’t know if those ensembles account for that. Those maps seem to hug the coast too much in these events. Usually best gusts are just away from the south coast shoreline.
  6. Still remains to be seen how inverted it is. There’s definitely going to be an inversion and I wouldn’t use the clown wind maps at all. But that’s a hell of a LLJ.
  7. Hrrr says days without power.
  8. Toasty Christmas on the Euro.
  9. It varies and changes, but the trend line is up.
  10. It’s been non existent in NAMR which is mostly due to Nino.
  11. Kills me for some reason this year. I hate it lol.
  12. Won’t see that again in terms of intensity.
  13. I’m joking. Hope we rock Jan-Feb.
  14. Revisions being done at Clarke’s?
  15. Yeah I have faith in January. But this December has been brutal. I expected mild and not much snow. If we get something after Christmas I think many would be happy. I figured this month would have WSW criteria somewhere. But if we get porked region wide then that is something I did not anticipate.
  16. Just realized 3 years ago was the e big Dendy storm.
  17. If a lot of us are shut out into NY, I didn’t expect that.
  18. I think honestly it was just mild. You get those light wind days and temps near 50 and it reminds you of March.
  19. Lots of beer in here this morning. Maybe even some shrooms.
