In Steve's defense, there is a window for a late season event. It's not fantasy. I think we all feel the same way about how things have gone, but if you look at it from an unbiased view...it is intriguing.
I feel like this year was worse. Being so close to better events just keeps the torture going. Never did I think this year would ever be worse. I'm dumbfounded about how bad it's been. It's to the point now that it makes you wonder why even have this as a stupid hobby. Fucking torch it if it's months of 40 and rain.
Even as a kid...I get the big piles stuff...but I remember helping my Dad snow blow and then spending the rest of the time out playing in it. So I guess I always looked at it from a different POV. But shovel or no shovel, you still admire the big events and deep snow just as much.
Snow blower without a question. Screw shoveling. I can get hours of my life back by snow blowing. Besides when the snow melts and only piles remain, that does nothing because deep down I know they're artificial.
It's like driving to your house going the "shady" route. You don't want to see the bare ground so you take the scenic route. But deep down you know that one snowy side of the street doesn't help justify deep winter. Deep winter is all pack all the time.
Late season stronger Ninos have had a history of a period of BN and some snow. If there is a BN period, I do not think it lasts long. I mean in April 2016 I had two snow events with one of them struggling for 30F during the day.
