    Probably because PVD is near the water. We had days of 75-85. 98 was like 2-3 days. But agree it was a furnace those 3 days.

    98-99 was sort of a Cape winter. Well...relatively speaking. They had the big 18-24" snow in Feb '99. That was also the year of the Christmas eve-eve snow in SE MA. And I'm sure Ray has this PPT saved on his laptop.....the big OES event for the S shore. Boing!

    The irony is that the airmass that is modeled is colder than anything I can recall that tried to show a wintry evolution in January or February. That is LOL-tastic. Right or not...I had to laugh.

    Seeing those images always makes me wonder how much more snow I would report if gales did not accompany the storms 90% of the time lol.
