Satellite and radar don’t look that impressive to me. Seems like some shear and dry air is impinging on the southern side of the eye wall. It made a decent run overnight anyways.
Get some beer, fried seafood at Sir Crickets Fish and Chips in Orleans and check out the sunset at Skaket beach. Hopefully the sun isn’t too far south and sets over the ocean still.
It need to get rid of that blob of convection to the NE and work out that dry air. There might be a small window for it to really pick up steam. The eastward ticks are sort of interesting for NoLa.
Well it won’t be 95/70 so not deep summer. I’d say summer-like.
After the ball tickling airmass in late August for ACATT, it’s back to torch when nobody wants it.
