  1. I said this yesterday, but wait till later in first week of January I think. I feel like gradient, thus latitude will matter with a more -PNA look.
  2. Yep and it probably continues. Weenie drop. on Kevin’s head. Still a chance of mix bag 27 and maybe 29-30, but looks tough at the moment.
  3. Not really. 2nd half of December will be mild and boring.
  4. Among other things. So I guess toss the latest readings since the summer. That’s too bad.
  5. The irony is that MADIS says ORH may be a hair too warm over the last year. However, if I’m reading this right...the sites it uses are also not really similar elevation? Perhaps Brian knows more. I have no stake in the game. It just seems like they have running departures on the cool side. You guys are taking it way too personally. https://weather.gladstonefamily.net/site/search?site=KORH;Get information=Get information;days=364#Data
  6. It’s not I’m right you’re wrong lol. I give up.
  7. It’s not even that lol. I’ve looked at MADIS too and it’s within reason for sure. Nothing like BOS. It’s just at times looked cool to me. Maybe it’s siting.
  8. i’ve checked quite a bit lately and they (ORH) seem cool compared to the 900-1100 ft stations. By maybe 1F. At one point they were comparable with temps to near 1200’ stations in the berks last week with CAA and seemed a bit strange to me. It’s not egregious, but they’ve been steady state 1F or so on avg cooler than many stations in terms of departures. I’ll keep my eye on it a bit more. I haven’t looked at it as hard as BOS, but there’s been a few head scratchers. Kevin, I know when things can seem slightly off. I led the BOS issues and it’s recognized. I know what I’m looking at. It’s possible it’s within reason, but it’s caught my eye a few times. BOS it in a league of its own.
  9. ORH Does seem to run a tad cool. I’ve been watching them too with local stations.
  10. ****ing Logan. And already on camera Mets Are like it hasn’t been that cold.
  11. Yeah sort of a 180 of recent runs. LOL.
  12. I'm actually not trolling..lol. I'm just stating what it has. I find it interesting that it's trying to mix much better than most guidance, but given W-SW flow it should be closer to correct. And to prove I'm a man of honesty, the euro is showing a minor wintry deal on the 27th, and a late bloomer (sort of toolate for us) on the 29th.
  13. MOS is mid to upper 50s tomorrow in many areas.
  14. 96 was definitely better up this way vs 2016. My first 2' event.
  15. Probably in Jan 2013. LOL. But I think it started looking better at the end of the month in terms of the pattern. Only storm where I melted a few days prior, was in 2015 and if mets don't agree they're lying..lol. I thought for sure the system two days before Juno would kick it OTS. Never thought we had room for that to come closer. Boy was I wrong on that, but I think most mets would agree 9/10 times that is a kicker.
  16. Looking at my old pics while cleaning out attachments and making space, some classic images in there. Will have to bring them out soon.
  17. That's a great recap. Jan 2011 was epic weenie month in CT, esp western, SW CT. I have no issues with that month again though up this way. That 6 week stretch was great NW of PYM, but an under the radar epic screw job from Diane's old hood through the Cape. I guess they made up for it later on in the decade.
  18. Wait a minute..lol. I melted? I don't think I melted prior to Feb 13.
  19. Here is the thread I had about previous storms.
  20. Who said that? December isn't wire to wire either.
  21. Well not totally a 100% break. The 27th could be a minor wintry deal, especially interior. The 29-30 also looks like something to watch, especially interior. After that, seems like we shake out the kinks later in 1st week of January.
  22. I wonder if they have to have one of the companies have a monopoly. That is, they agree to run lines if they are the only provider? When that happens, they can sponsor technology like that. I honestly don’t know. What town is she teaching in?
