I haven’t checked this out in awhile, but congrats Phin! That’s a great spot like many said. They always seem to do well in all directions. I’ve been camping up that way and know the area. Great slot. Awesome.

Randolph is a weenie spot. They do fairly well. I know you can get land cheap in Maine. VT and NH have some decent pricing in remote areas, but it’s getting tougher to find. It depends what you want. If you want seclusion and a unabomber type lifestyle, you can probably find it for cheap. Good luck near a body of water though.

6z EPS definitely got closer. I guess the issue may be this being a flat wave and not something wound up, but that is a big thermal gradient at 850. There probably would be a heck of a deformation band if that happened verbatim.

Keep an eye on next Thursday. It’s a gulf wave and although chances are low..that’s always an ominous look.

The temp drop from this was fascinating. Lots of places had highs near 40-42. And two hours dropped almost 10F.

I did see some of the guidance almost had a mini max with the strong LLJ. It almost showed a wall of snow wrapped around the low this evening.
