Light snow here but just a dusting. That stuff today is more cellular and won’t stack like those bands. At least for now.

I just realized something. I'm not sure if I am proud or scared by it. I went down to see some cool mesoscale effects and snow, suddenly I feel happier. Even though I am home and it looks like a Chernobyl landscape outside...was nice to see.

Had to take a weenie drive. You go from a coating to about 5” in maybe 3-4 miles. Crazy gradient. Makes me want to camp out on a frozen cranberry bog by myself like Bear Grylls.

My dad estimated 4-5 inches where they are in Marshfield. Said he had about an inch in the last hour so probably more now.

There hasn’t been something like this in years. The CJ I had in 2015 was sort of enhanced by the coastal front. This is true cold air over warm water stuff. It’s curling SW because winds aloft at like 950-900 are more NE for now

Yeah good stuff. I’m kidding obviously. Some of these airmasses have the cold banked up against the north and NW slopes of the mountains. Not sure if you’ve ever noticed that, but quite obviously at 925 on the progs. But looked like Mreaves said MPV wasn’t too far BN? It’s only a little BN here.
