The NWS can't even spend money to fix their own technical infrastructure (which isn't their fault), nevermind build a place to launch a balloon.

Well more like Mother Nature. Erosion FTL. Not sure if they will even search for a new one. Honestly, satellite technology is pretty good. I don't think missing a baloon launch between Maine and Long Island will matter much. Unless, NHC makes a fuss about it.

I think we sneak some DSD days...but overall...just seems meh. Euro op might be the other extreme.

Granted I get a lot of sun, but we growing. I will say my locale is probably a bit of a microclimate because I don't radiate much. Go south of here where it's more rural and they radiate...doesn't look much is coming up. My folks always comment how much ahead of schedule we are compared to them. But we take that in the Spring.

We all understand Tolland does downslope a bit on N to NE winds. This is a reason why you never see them get the icing and snow amounts that places NE of Tolland get.
