  1. If you weren’t married, you’d be catching waves with the rest of the ski crew off Misquamicut. Maybe even riding on the back of Ginxy.
  2. I honestly don't feel that bad. I don't see evidence of a permanent death star and I like these interludes of cold we get.
  3. I have a feeling I may be like the fat kid in Stand by Me sitting back as people puke on themselves with the first week or so in December. Just posting images, and watching Kevin puke, then Wolfie, Mahk Webstah..and so on.
  4. LOL..I guess it depends. I mean if it's a terrible pattern region wide nothing you can do.
  5. I don't get as bent out of shape as I used to. Of course we want fun weather, be it snow or canes.....but life is too busy to bitch about it.
  6. I never went bitter. Sometimes it's good to have some fun. I don't mind the cutter next week..or whatever it ends up being if it can drive a good airmass in. For whatever reason, people are expecting a ton of early snow....and it may not work out that way.
  7. Winter with a bang probably Plains and maybe upper Midwest-Lakes region to start. That seems Nina to me.
  8. Not much of a cutter on the EPS. If anything decent for NNE.
  9. Dam, was hoping to have a foot OTG and 2 feet in the snow column by now.
  10. That's a nasty ice look on some guidance next week. Ukie looks nasty up there.
  11. On the GEFS you can see the eastern NPAC ridge sharpens up and probably aids in the s/w digging next week, causing a mixed bag/rain. But after that, that is quite the mass of cold air. Sometimes those cutters shake things up a bit.
  12. Just having fun, probably should get back on track. It's just that nothing exciting is imminent.
  13. LOL, no Debbie...just want to illicit a depressing post from you.
  14. Tblizz's Icon went from giving him snow to snow--->rain. Enjoy.
  15. I don't have the data in front of me, but my guess is that we had a lot of fast flow in the 80s with lots of +AO/NAO. Hence the lack of biggies (except in some Ninos). Fast times at Ridgemont High.
  16. Perhaps, but I’m thinking based on what I see, milder first half. Again JMHO.
  17. I’ve been up all night with my daughter either having a reaction to antibiotics or stomach bug. I’ll be good for a few doozies.
  18. Trick or treat sweet to eat, Torch from Halloween until New Years Eve. Yankees baseball sucks real hard.. Kevin still blowing leaves in his back yard.. Torch, torch, torch... Waxing the truck while the Cowboys lose... Torch, torch, torch, Viewing the Euro while drinking booze...
  19. Well in any case, after whatever happens next week it’s probably boredom for a bit as things move around in the Pacific. If we do get into a milder look, I’d figure beyond 12/15 is when things turn more wintry. Just my guess. Naturally climo helps too. I’m not a fan of the look first two weeks. With any luck we sneak in a wintry event or two......but I’m just talking about the overall look.
