  1. We (New England) are ok with that look. It's the current situation which has it positively tilted and digging for oil near Vancouver.
  2. EPS had some decent changes for the benefit of weenies. That moves the -PNA trough east a bit.
  3. Will is right, that could be icy just inland on Christmas. It has that look.
  4. Younger met I think. It's fine, not to belabor...just letting off a little steam.
  5. How is Eric Webber’s NAO looking for east coast snow ? Guy can eat a fat one.
  6. If we are using warming temps, I’m sure the folks freezing their ass off in the Pacific Northwest will appreciate that over the next two weeks.
  7. Our historic stretches in the northeast (not all of them, but some) have had a -PNA and -NAO combo. But, like with any pattern....it's not always a guarantee and nuances in the overall look will cause it to have destructive interference or expectations one did not hope for. You think anybody expected Boston to break its snowfall record with a raging +NAO? It happens.
  8. GFS continues to say eff you to any block and keeps moving north. At least Christmas is mostly dry.
  9. Not with that SE ridge. My hope was it to bleed east as well, but now we lose some -NAO so I highly doubt we are cold and dry. I don't see how that is possible at the moment. At least early January.
  10. GEFS show something more ideal. I honestly have no confidence as to what may happen.
  11. It has nothing to do with trolling. Instead of rolling east, it's digging more into CA.
  12. Forky's post says it right there. That's all you need to see.
  13. Born in '79. I remember roughly '83 on. Enough to know the pain.
  14. Euro is decent. Widespread 0.5”-1.5” and probably a lolli to 2” or a bit more somewhere. I feel like this event may have a couple of narrow, but decent bands in it with maybe lots of half inch or a little more in between?
