Yeah those are rapid temps drops. I’m not saying it won’t be slippery, but when I think flash freeze, I don’t see this as one.

I’m not sure of the actual definition, but when I look at the model temps, that doesn’t strike me as a flash freeze?

I’m not sure if it’s that bad honestly. Temps sort of gently drop. A flash freeze is like temps above 32 dropping to 20s in like a half hour or less. I don’t see this as a flash freeze. As long as crews are out there, it doesn’t seem like anything out of the ordinary. Taking an hour or two to go from 34 to 28 is manageable.

Those in cstl Plymouth county and the upper cape might grab a few extra inches if things go right later in the week and early weekend.

4 likely the exception as I see it. Unless this amps up. I don’t see anything saying 4” even with ratios. Some qpf will be wasted as rain. If anybody has a shot at 3”+ it might be Wolfie to Kev to western RI.

March 2015 was good there. On upper cape especially.

Another area sucking is Plymouth down to the Cape and over on Cape Anne. Not sure if you noticed, but there winter has been meh last 4 seasons.
