  1. 18z HRRR is nasty here on Friday late morning and aftn.
  2. Maybe there is a daytime heating issue? You can see how it warms up the north country during the day as it is snowing. How is that happening?
  3. Euro is still dragging ass on the cold, really not exciting at all verbatim.
  4. Over 40. Snowpack shrinking like Kevin's icestorm hopes.
  5. There is considerable variety with the 12z hi res models.
  6. The orientation is more SW-NE, which limits the cold press coming in prior to precip. meh.
  7. The models have been slower overall with the cold push.
  8. It probably will be. But a narrow area could have pretty good icing.
  9. Aloft it is. The surface is different I think. If anything, might be more setup for ZR there, if these trends aloft hold.
  10. Feb is usually when the Tip solar algorithm is installed in the Euro.,
  11. That’s what I said to Steve. The low is weak POS. Not sure why it would slow?
  12. Euro would sort of argue against it, while the other models show it. It’s rather bizarre to be honest. I haven’t look hard. I did note the trend aloft is warmer. Hopefully we can get some presses today. This low is weak AF, so one would think we should see a good push south?
  13. I wasn’t calling you a clown. It’s a clown map that’s going to do clown things. I don’t really use those maps, so I’m not a good source to explain. Maybe the site owner would know. Next week we snooze, but looks pretty active after.
  14. I don’t know dude and don’t care. You should look at the soundings. And then figure out the qpf as sleet or snow.
  15. Euro takes forever to get below 32, but the GFS and NAM rush it in. Strange indeed.
  16. It's a clown map, who cares. Clearly it thinks whatever that is, is snow. It's trash.
